Can’t believe it’s September, one of the busiest month in an academic year as a mom of two, get ready the uniforms, shoes, stationery, and tones of school notice. I’m lucky to have my mom living nearby, she always helps me a lot, I made this tag for her as a thanks.

Maya Road Tulle Flowers are my fave, they come in various colors, they can match with whatever vintage or modern projects. Like this colorful tag, the white match with the pink, you can feel a lot of happiness.

To let the tag to be more eye catching, I make a bow with Maya Road twines and put it on the top of the tag, together with the beautiful resin bow, it is so cute!

“With Love” is of course the most important message which I would like to pass to my mom, using Maya Road ‘with love’ dies with two color cardstocks, layer them which makes them more sturdy and pop up from the background. Before adhere the doll on the tag, I die cut the Maya Road Geometric Blossom with shine gold cardstock, wow, it is so cool, this give my tag more details and bright, look at the perfect cuts!

My First Box Making YouTube Tutorial

Quite a few of our kit club member asked me to do a tutorial on how the boxes been made as sturdy as mine, I use them for storing stamps, embellishments, ink pads, or even I made a few as drawers. This time I prepared a short step by step tutorial on YouTube, so that you can see what I actually do, especially the connecting strips, I really would like to give a credit to one of the paper artist I love so much – Laura Denison, I learned how to use connecting strips from her video. Please click the link to visit her blog, and the below one of mine simple box making one.
