You are my Champion – with Maya Road

I had made this kind of display mini album before, but I changed the theme this time. Trophy should not be just used for celebrating championship, it can also mean “you are the best” or as the title of this blog I’ve given “you are my champion”. This trophy album I made for my friend to celebrate her boss first anniversary of being on that job, this is just cool to display at the office and remembering all the happiness of being working together in this year.

Down there in the album, I used a lot of Maya Road goodies to decorate, can’t say more words of how they are great to be used on so many kinds of projects, you can see in this pic the pearl trim, the resin frame, the crochet trim and the kraft journaling tag, hohoho!

On the top of the album, I made a bow with Maya Road vintage burlap matched with a tulle flower, the birdie is used for decorating the back of the bow. Here at the back of the album, you will see burlap is always my favorite, ha, I used them a lot.

Okay, I can’t miss the beautiful new Maya Road Steel Dies, here the front and back of the trophy. I die-cut two pieces of paper with the Maya Road Geometric Feather Die, adhered together on the cup before I sprayed it. You can find also the Banner Die I used to make the champion bow at the front of the trophy, the little heart is so cute.

Pallet Photo Display – with Maya Road

This is the first time I play with string art, so much fun but I’d tried for ten times, lol! I did it on the new Maya Road 8×8 pallet, this is the perfect size as you can use it for many different kinds of wall art.

I upcycled an wood embellishment box as the photo frame, cut the photos into 1.5 inch square and adhere inside the holes, some of them used foam. I left one of the hole free and put a piece of pattern paper with Maya Road Simple Heart Clips, I colored it with oil base marker in red.

To decorate the pallet, flowers are always my first choice. The Maya Road steel dies are super strong that I roll only one time with the felt and they came off easily. I am fall in love with this flowers.  I added a little pearl in the middle to let them look more elegant.

How about the leaves, they are just too cute to use the heart dies to cut, then fold and glue on a wire (I used the cut over wire from the paper roses).

I think I did say that “with love” dies is one of my favorite Maya Road dies, I used it with glittered foam sheet this time, easy and just perfect for adding a bit shine on the pallet. What kind of wall pallet art will you play with this new? Let us know.

“With Love” Tag – with Maya Road

Can’t believe it’s September, one of the busiest month in an academic year as a mom of two, get ready the uniforms, shoes, stationery, and tones of school notice. I’m lucky to have my mom living nearby, she always helps me a lot, I made this tag for her as a thanks.

Maya Road Tulle Flowers are my fave, they come in various colors, they can match with whatever vintage or modern projects. Like this colorful tag, the white match with the pink, you can feel a lot of happiness.

To let the tag to be more eye catching, I make a bow with Maya Road twines and put it on the top of the tag, together with the beautiful resin bow, it is so cute!

“With Love” is of course the most important message which I would like to pass to my mom, using Maya Road ‘with love’ dies with two color cardstocks, layer them which makes them more sturdy and pop up from the background. Before adhere the doll on the tag, I die cut the Maya Road Geometric Blossom with shine gold cardstock, wow, it is so cool, this give my tag more details and bright, look at the perfect cuts!
